Mrs. Ripa's kindergarten class asked each other whether or not they believed the groundhog would see his shadow and then graphed the results as part of a Groundhog Day activity. We're hoping for early Spring! #ParsonsPride #BetterTogether

Mrs. Gilmore and Mrs. Quevedo’s kindergarten class celebrated the beginning of Lunar New Year by listening to a story and making dragon dance puppets! Great job! #ParsonsPride #BetterTogether
Ms. Schneiweis and Mrs. Viani’s first graders did timeline projects . They learned about timelines and how families are all different in social studies. They also are becoming super smart about nonfiction topics and teaching others! #ParsonsPride #BetterTogether
Ms. Granato’s 1st Graders were rewarded for completing the Kindness Challenge Bingo Board for Kindness Week. They watched Happy Feet! 🐧 Go Parsons Penguin Pride! #ParsonsPride #BetterTogether
Mrs. Wilhelm's pre-k made observations, predictions and discoveries during science. They thought about what happens if ice was left out, and if salt was poured on it. Students then discussed how community helpers use salt to keep roads safe during snowy weather. #ParsonsPride
The clothing study is in full swing for Mrs. Domadia's pre-k class. They spent time learning about the art of block printing and had great fun! #ParsonsPride #BetterTogether

Students in Kindergarten through 4th grade have enjoyed playing a P.E. favorite known as “MEDIC.” This game allows students to work on their throwing and catching skills, along with partner scooter skills. Students enjoyed working hard to save their classmates, pushing them carefully to safety to help them rejoin the game. Such a fun week! Some of our Kindergarten friends even had a surprise visit from Mrs. Whalen and had a chance to show her the game!
